Understand your shortlist and tradeoffs No obligation

Your review covers options worth evaluating, including staying on VMware; the cost, migration effort, and operational tradeoffs; and what to verify before committing. If you request a written review, an advisor responds by email within one business day to begin it. We may ask for more detail before validating costs or requesting quotes.

Negotiation & implementation support Through go-live

Your advisor negotiates terms on your side of the table, including Broadcom renewal negotiations or bridge extensions if staying put short-term is the right move. Once you sign, Bridgepointe stays involved as your advocate through migration and go-live, and remains your escalation path afterward.

VMware Migration Hub works differently. We're a vendor-neutral advisory, not a lead aggregator. Your name, email, and environment details stay with the advisory team handling your review, and go to a provider only when you ask us to request a proposal from them.

What's your current annual VMware spend?
Your last renewal (or Broadcom's new quote) is the baseline we measure every option against. A rough number is fine, or tell us your quote is still under review.
When does your VMware contract renew?
Timing determines whether you can run a full evaluation or need a bridge strategy first.
Where does your environment run today?
On-prem, colocation, or hosted, it changes which paths are lift-and-shift versus replatform.
How old is your host hardware?
If a refresh is due anyway, the economics of switching platforms change dramatically.
Any compliance requirements?
HIPAA, PCI, CMMC, FedRAMP, or state mandates narrow the provider field quickly.
How big is the team that runs virtualization?
Determines whether self-managed options like Proxmox are realistic or a managed provider makes more sense.
Are you open to staying on VMware through a provider?
This can preserve familiar tooling, but costs, workload relocation, and operating responsibilities still need to be compared.
What's the priority: cost, risk, or timeline?
The cheapest path, the safest path, and the fastest path are rarely the same one. Your priority sets the ranking.
